•    Meets and exceeds budgeted revenue of unit growth for a sales territory. Focus on new business and development of existing business.
•    Builds, directs, and motivates an effective sales team.
•    Working with the Regional Sales Manager, directs the work of the sales representatives in developing profitable revenue.
•    Manages and provides leadership, direction, and coaching in the profitable district sales.
•    Working with the Regional Sales Manager, directs staffing, training efforts, and conducts performance evaluations to development and control a high-level of professionalism in CORT sales programs.
•    Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, and discount rates, as well as develop sales campaigns to achieve sales goals.
•    Develop tools necessary to bring CORT's sales staff up to their highest potential by providing developmental plans to facilitate career paths.
•    Provides motivational leadership through coaching, mentoring, example, education, and market knowledge.
•    Makes sales and sales maintenance calls on key customers to ensure growth opportunities for the District(s) and ensure customers receive proper service.
•    Working with the Regional Sales Manager, directs the processes involved in business and organizational planning, coordination and execution. This includes strategic planning, resource allocation, manpower modeling, leadership techniques, and production methods.
•    Make judgements and decisions weighing the relative costs and benefits of potential action. Also, identifies the things that must be changed to achieve a goal.
•    Establish communication goals with the sales force to ensure that market intelligence, opportunities, and referrals are optimized.
•    Regularly meet and maintain communication with the Regional Sales Manager and the District General Manager to ensure sales strategy meets district(s) needs.
•    Coordinates communication between other sales regions and service centers to ensure that all customer opportunities are acted on.
•    Coaches and provides training to sales personnel as needed to drive revenue goals.
•    Ensures that all sales personnel are consistently and correctly utilizing Salesforce.
•    Answers customer complaints or inquiries. Supports excellent customer service.
•    Carry out all supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and procedures.

•    College degree and/or 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience;
•    Knowledge of the real estate and/or mortgage industry in Chicago is beneficial;
•    Excellent communication and reasoning skills, computer proficiency, including experience with Salesforce or other CRM, and account development and management skills;
•    Ability to develop effective marketing strategies, accurately forecast revenue growth and profit;
•    Ability to build relationships with external and internal customers;
•    Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen;
•    Must have local state driver's license and safe driving record;
•    Must have reliable transportation
•    Ability to speak, read and write English
